NextGen Olympiad ("we", "our", or "us"), operated by OMAPPS, runs the platform at olympiad.nextgenink.in. We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Because our service is used by students in Class 3–10, much of the data is provided by a parent or guardian, and we rely on parental consent for users under 18.

• Account information: name, email address, and a securely hashed password.
• Student profiles: student name, class/grade, board, school, city/state, gender/age, and a parent/guardian name and phone number — entered to personalise learning and exam registration.
• Usage data: quiz attempts, scores, time-per-question, topics studied, and leaderboard activity.
• Payment information: subscription/exam-fee transaction records. Card and bank details are handled by our payment gateway — we do not store card details.
• Device & log data: browser type, IP address, and operating system, used for security and diagnostics.

• To provide the daily quiz, practice, notes, and quarterly Olympiad services.
• To personalise the learning experience and calculate leaderboards and results.
• To register students for Olympiad exams and issue admit cards / hall tickets.
• To process subscription and exam-fee payments and administer fee-waiver rewards.
• To send important service updates and respond to support queries.
• To detect misuse, prevent fraud, and keep the platform secure.

NextGen Olympiad is intended for students in Class 3–10, who are minors. Accounts must be created and managed by a parent or guardian, who consents to the collection and use of the student's information as described here. A parent/guardian may review, update, or request deletion of their child's data at any time by contacting us. We do not knowingly use children's data for advertising or sell it to third parties.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

• Service providers who help us operate (hosting, payment gateway, email/SMS), bound by confidentiality and used only on our instructions.
• Partner centers/schools only where you register through them or redeem a fee-waiver at a center you choose.
• Authorities where required by law, or to protect our rights and the safety of users.

We keep personal data only as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations, then delete or anonymise it. We use industry-standard safeguards (encryption in transit, hashed passwords, access controls). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work continuously to protect your data.

Subject to applicable law (including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act), you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, email us at the address below; we may need to verify your identity first.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, communicated to you.
